About the role#
This is a full-time Audit Internship based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the Winter 2028 term. You will work on-site at the Wipfli office or at client locations. This position is paid and requires you to be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures according to professional standards.
- Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and gather necessary information for documentation.
- Use data analysis to identify patterns and suggest process improvements.
- Communicate with engagement leaders regarding testing problems and open items.
- Develop technical competency with GAAP.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- Above average accounting knowledge, with a 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
- Working toward eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Ability to think independently, make decisions, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data is preferred.
