About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Tax Internship for the Winter 2028 term. You will work on-site at our Helena, Montana office. This position offers hands-on experience in tax and accounting, allowing you to work alongside professionals to support client engagements across various industries.
What you'll do#
- Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections.
- Research tax issues and related financial reports.
- Gather information from clients to complete required documentation.
- Respond to client inquiries.
- Perform a limited number of tax return interviews.
- Use data analysis skills to identify patterns and information for client recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation course.
- A college GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Progress toward meeting the credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
