About the role#
We are hiring for a Tax Internship for the winter of 2028. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Billings, Montana office. You will work alongside our tax professionals to support client engagements and gain practical experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections.
- Research tax issues and related financial reports.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates.
- Use data analysis skills to support recommendations.
- Conduct a limited number of tax return interviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting.
- Completion of at least one corporate or individual taxation class.
- Above average competency in accounting.
- Working towards the 150 credits required to sit for the CPA exam.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Location: Billings, Montana.
- Work Modality: This role is on-site. You will work from the office or client sites as required.
