About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in tax accounting. You will work alongside professionals to support client engagements and develop skills as a business advisor. This is a paid, full-time position for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections.
- Research tax issues and related financial reports.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates.
- Use data analysis to support recommendations.
- Perform a limited number of tax return interviews.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation course.
- Above average competency in accounting.
- Progress toward eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- This role is located in Billings, Montana.
- This is an on-site position requiring work in the office or at client sites.
