About the role#
The Environmental Intern will learn about HVAC business operations and EH&S regulations. You will work with departments including Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality to promote sustainability and support the goal of achieving Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions. This role focuses on Greenhouse Gas reduction, Green Technology, ISO 14001 EMS, and environmental reporting. You will also gain exposure to state and federal regulations while interacting with vendor partners and community stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and communicate policies.
- Assist with the implementation of strategic goals for EH&S programs.
- Develop and implement EH&S policies and procedures.
- Analyze trends and metrics to propose solutions.
- Support compliance auditing activities.
- Complete incident investigations, project evaluations, and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
