About the role#
The Programmer Analyst Intern joins the IT Applications team at Daikin U.S. Corporation for an 11-week summer program. You will work on an individual project with your team and collaborate with other interns on a group project. This role focuses on solving technical tasks and learning business processes through mentorship and hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
- Automate manual tasks and optimize data delivery.
- Build new interfaces and data transfer processes with a focus on data security and encryption.
- Respond to support tickets according to company procedures.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong analytical skills to solve medium to complex tasks.
- Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
