About the role#
Daikin U.S. Corporation offers an 11-week summer internship program focused on mentorship and hands-on experience. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work on projects that promote environmental efficiency, ranging from industry analysis to energy use at the Daikin Texas Technology Park. You will be part of a team and complete an individual project while collaborating with other interns on group work.
What you'll do#
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual tasks and optimizing data delivery.
- Build infrastructure for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data using SQL and AWS technologies.
- Support stakeholders in Executive, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams with technical data issues.
- Develop methods to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Participate in team building and networking activities across functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
