About the role#
This paid summer internship provides an introduction to the financial services industry. You will work directly with experienced Financial Advisors in a branch office. Over nine weeks, you will observe how a successful and ethical practice operates. The program includes a dedicated week at our corporate office in Seattle to interact with Executive and Senior Leadership. You will also have the opportunity to study for and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials exam.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on projects that support Financial Advisors and their clients.
- Participate in presentations, community service, and team building activities.
- Engage with Department Heads and senior leaders.
- Learn the day-to-day operations of a wealth management practice.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college before June 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to commit to the full 9-week program.
- Residence in the local area or existing arrangements to live there for the summer.
- Successful completion of background, reference, and credit checks.
