About the role#
The Wealth Management Summer Internship Program is a paid, nine-week opportunity for students to gain direct experience in the financial services industry. You will work within a branch office, observing the daily operations of an ethical practice that serves individual investors. The program includes a dedicated week at our corporate office in Seattle to connect with firm leadership and participate in team-based activities. This is a part-time position requiring at least 25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with experienced Financial Advisors.
- Collaborate on projects that support advisors and their clients.
- Study for and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, with test preparation and testing costs covered by the firm.
- Participate in an immersive week of presentations and community service at our Seattle corporate office.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college by June 2027.
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to commit to the full nine-week program duration.
- Residency in the local area of the branch office or pre-existing arrangements to live there for the summer.
- Successful completion of background, reference, and credit checks.

This is an on-site internship for Summer 2027. We are hiring for branch locations in Pasadena and Ventura, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Bozeman, Great Falls, and Missoula, Montana; Lincoln, Nebraska; Salt Lake City, Utah; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Lake Oswego, Oregon; and Bellevue, Seattle, and Spokane, Washington.
