About the role#
This paid internship program offers a 9-week look into the financial services industry. You will work within a branch office to see how Financial Advisors manage an ethical practice. The program includes a week at our Seattle corporate office to meet with senior leadership and department heads. You will also have the chance to study for and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with experienced Financial Advisors.
- Observe the day-to-day operations of a professional financial practice.
- Collaborate on projects that support our advisors and their clients.
- Participate in team building and community service activities during the corporate office week.
- Prepare for and take the SIE exam.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college by June 2027.
- Enrollment in a Finance, Economics, or Business Administration program.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent skills in analysis, leadership, communication, teamwork, and service.
- Ability to commit to the full 9-week program.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to live in the local branch area for the duration of the internship.
- Successful completion of background, reference, and credit checks.
