About the role#
This paid internship program offers a 9-week look into the financial services industry. You will work directly with experienced Financial Advisors in our Spokane branch. The program requires a commitment of at least 25 hours per week. You will observe how a successful, ethical practice runs and gain hands-on experience supporting our advisors and their clients. The program includes an immersive week at our Seattle corporate office to meet with senior leadership and department heads.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on projects that support Financial Advisors and their clients.
- Study for and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials exam.
- Learn about the financial services industry from veterans in the field.
- Participate in team building, community service, and presentations during the Seattle office week.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college by June 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background, reference, and credit check.
- You must live in the local area or have your own housing arrangements for the summer.
