About the role#
This paid internship program offers a look into the financial services industry at an employee-owned firm. You will work in a branch office for nine weeks, observing how Financial Advisors run an ethical practice. The program requires a minimum of 25 hours per week. You will also travel to our Seattle corporate office for one week to meet with Executive and Senior Leadership.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with experienced Financial Advisors and other professionals.
- Collaborate on projects that support our advisors and their clients.
- Study and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, with preparation and testing costs covered by the firm.
- Participate in team building, presentations, and community service during your time in Seattle.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college by June 2027.
- A focus on Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to commit to the full nine-week duration.
- You must live in the local area of the branch office or have pre-existing arrangements to do so.
- Ability to pass a background, reference, and credit check.
