About the role#
The Wealth Management Research Internship is a 9-week program based in our Seattle headquarters. You will work directly with a team of four Research Analysts and two Research Associates. The team manages three Separately Managed Account portfolios and covers approximately 55 stocks. This is a paid, part-time position requiring at least 25 hours per week during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience with portfolio analysis and investment due diligence.
- Create market commentary to support our Financial Advisors and their clients.
- Assist in the analysis and coordination of the Student Investment Program, which supports 21 universities.
- Provide analytical support for various ad-hoc projects.
- Interact with executive and senior leadership during an immersive intern week.
- Study for and sit for the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials exam.
What you'll need#
- Preferred candidates include postgraduates and undergraduates graduating in 2027.
- A background in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance and professional drive.
- Demonstrated skills in analytical leadership, communication, teamwork, and service.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the program.
- Successful completion of background, reference, and credit checks.
