Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will play a critical role in delivering patient care, maintaining safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position focuses on patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Support patient care programs to help customers and patients manage their health.
• Ensure a safe and effective work environment that delivers exceptional care.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing precision control for pharmacy equipment.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and timelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.
