About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver patient care and support our health services. You will operate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role involves helping patients manage their health through prescription advice and chronic condition support.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care as part of the pharmacy team.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow.
- Align team members around the pharmacy values and purpose.
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
