About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor to gain professional experience in a community healthcare setting. This role focuses on supporting the pharmacy team to deliver patient care and ensuring the pharmacy operates effectively.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process.
- Provide patient counseling and assist pharmacy patients and front store customers with questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where you are employed.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

- This position is located in Pasadena, California.
- This is an on-site, part-time, paid internship.
- The role operates on a rolling term basis.
