About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. You help manage chronic and specialty conditions and assist with daily pharmacy operations. This role focuses on patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management within a retail setting.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team to deliver quality care and improve processes.
- Promote a positive team culture.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
