About the role#
As a Technology Intern, you will help build the software tools that power the proprietary platforms at CoStar Group. You will support our sales and research teams across various real estate marketplaces. This program provides hands-on experience with enterprise-level projects where you will work alongside full-time engineers. Each intern is paired with a mentor to support technical development, career growth, and day-to-day learning.
What you'll do#

- Gain exposure to software engineering principles and various technical tools.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable major.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Must be planning to return to school after the Summer 2027 internship.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week for the full 10-week program.
- Experience applying programming languages, software engineering fundamentals, databases, or cloud concepts through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Understanding of web services, APIs, or application design concepts like REST or GraphQL.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to collaborate on team-based work.
- Interest in learning new technologies and writing maintainable, well-documented code.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, data science, or other emerging technology concepts.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- The schedule is on-site Monday through Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday.
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- CoStar Group is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
