About the role#
As a Technology Intern, you will help build the software tools that power the CoStar Group proprietary platform. These tools support our sales and research teams across major marketplaces like Homes.com, CoStar.com, Apartments.com, and LoopNet.com. You will work alongside full-time engineers on enterprise-level projects and contribute to meaningful business initiatives. Each intern is paired with a dedicated mentor to support technical development and learning throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Write understandable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Engage with a mentor for ongoing technical development.
- Collaborate on team-based projects and software development tasks.
- Apply software engineering fundamentals, databases, and cloud concepts.
- Explore emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and data science.
- Participate in Agile development practices and the Software Development Lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable major.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Must be planning to return to school after the Summer 2027 internship.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Experience building or contributing to technical projects through coursework, internships, or extracurriculars.
- Understanding of web services, APIs, or application design concepts.
- Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week for the full 10-week summer program.
