Technology Product Analyst Intern

About the role#

The Technology Product Analyst Intern will join the Product Management team to support the development of online vehicle auction products. This role focuses on translating user interactions into actionable data insights, contributing to the discovery phase of the software development lifecycle, and helping to prioritize product features based on business value and ROI.

What you'll do#

• Recommend and establish KPIs, monitor key metrics, and execute recurring reporting.
• Interpret product usage trends to tell a meaningful story about feature performance.
• Independently analyze feature usage to suggest enhancements and maintain project urgency.
• Design tests for beta, pilot, and early adopter programs to ensure successful product adoption.
• Execute the discovery phase of the SDLC by identifying functionality needs and performing research from a business value perspective.
• Define business problems, form hypotheses, and validate solutions using lean methodologies.
• Create dashboards and reports that communicate product performance through data segments and filters.

What you'll need#

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Proficiency in querying SQL databases with an understanding of relational table structures.
• Experience with quantitative research methods and visualizing results using Tableau or similar reporting platforms.
• Ability to manage and maintain analytics software such as Mixpanel, Flurry, or Google Analytics.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and Lean methodologies is preferred.
• Experience with product management software like JIRA is a plus.
