About the role#
Copart is seeking a DevOps Engineering Intern to support the deployment, automation, and operation of cloud-native and AI-enabled applications. You will work alongside software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to maintain applications and infrastructure while gaining experience in automation, reliability, and operational excellence.
What you'll do#
- Assist in deploying and maintaining applications in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Help develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
- Assist with environment provisioning, configuration management, and automation tasks.
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives and support the deployment of machine learning and AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery, technical discussions, and incident resolution.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of Linux administration and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Exposure to Kubernetes concepts and orchestration.
- Experience with Python, Java, Bash, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
