Software Engineering Intern

About the role#

The Software Engineering Intern will develop web applications from the ground up and contribute to existing projects. You will build responsive, single-page web applications and assist in the development of backend microservices. This role requires a creative approach to building pixel-perfect solutions while following industry best practices.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the development of well-structured web applications using modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, React Native, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with UX designers and developers to build modular, reusable components.
• Work with experienced developers to build and scale microservices using Java and the Spring framework.
• Contribute to a highly collaborative environment and focus on creating high-quality user experiences.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience developing web applications in Java, Ruby, or Python.
• Proficiency with web frameworks including Spring, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, or Sinatra.
• Experience designing and building single-page applications using JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for ReactJS or React Native.
• Experience building modular front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and browser rendering behavior.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
