About the role#
Copart is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to application development projects supporting global expansion. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring 40 hours per week. You will work alongside program managers, business analysts, and team leads to understand requirements and modify applications using Java and related technologies.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers and management in achieving optimal application architecture and design using Java.
- Develop efficient, secure websites and document solutions within an agile-blended environment.
- Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality.
- Communicate proactively with teammates, infrastructure, security, and quality assurance teams to improve engineering processes.
- Work with tools including Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, Hibernate, Solr, Kafka, and MySQL.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Practical experience with Java.
- Experience with web services and SQL.
- Experience with Spring Boot.
