About the role#
Dee Zee is looking for a Software Development Intern to join the team for the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience with business applications in a manufacturing environment. This role involves working on development tools, system integrations, and real-world software projects that support our core operations.
What you'll do#
- Develop, test, and debug software applications.
- Support integrations between various business applications.
- Maintain and update SQL Server databases and reporting tools.
- Take part in code reviews, documentation, and source control tasks.
- Work with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and provide support.
- Contribute to projects that improve business efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with programming languages like C#, VB.NET, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL, with a preference for Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or Git is helpful.
