About the role#
This internship provides experience working with data analysts in the banking industry. You will develop reporting, dashboards, and queries while assisting with special projects for the Data Management team. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Write efficient data queries for product and customer analysis.
- Develop dashboards and analysis to support consumer lines of business.
- Compile data analysis and reporting for the team.
- Present summary results to team members and business leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore or junior status pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Inquisitive and agile team player with excellent communication skills.
- Basic understanding of SQL is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to Python, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or data engineering concepts is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18, 2027, through July 30, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (in office 2 days per week) and remote.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
