About the role#
This internship provides temporary project-based support for data warehousing and reporting solutions. You will gain practical experience by working on meaningful projects and learning from professionals across the organization. This position is part-time and based on-site in Williamsville, New York.
What you'll do#
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Support data quality, governance, and reporting initiatives.
- Create dashboards and analytical reports.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to achieve project objectives.
- Assist with ongoing projects by providing research and preparing presentation slides.
- Shadow full-time employees to understand work processes.
- Attend training sessions and participate in workshops.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with data engineering, warehousing, BI, or analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Fabric, Airflow, and dbt.
- Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, and Power BI dashboard development.
- Experience with data governance, quality controls, and advanced Excel.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to independently manage project deliverables.
