About the role#
Commerce Bank offers a paid, full-time Summer 2027 internship for students interested in IT. This program provides experience within an agile development environment. You will work on real projects, participate in company initiatives, and interact with leadership. This role is a hybrid position.
What you'll do#
- Work as part of an agile development team to analyze, design, create, code, and maintain a full-stack software application.
- Collaborate and network with over 20 IT teams that support the bank.
- Partner with your peers and a mentor to complete projects and assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Junior or Senior standing.
- General understanding of principles in one or more programming languages such as Java or C#.
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Modality: Hybrid (in office 3 days per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (11 weeks).
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
