About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at Commercial Payment products, implementation, and account management. You will gain a practical understanding of how we support client receivables processes. Throughout the summer, you will connect with team members across the department and participate in both internal and client-facing meetings.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day operations, including client setup, data analysis, and preparation.
- Research client concerns and facilitate issue resolution through root cause analysis.
- Create and update client-facing materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, templates, and forms.
- Analyze new ideas and existing processes to identify time savings and client value.
- Update and refine internal procedures and process guides.
- Assist with ad hoc projects to improve team workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration.
- At least 1 year of prior work experience.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear narratives for clients.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Persistence in problem-solving and defining root causes.
- An inquisitive, agile, and team-focused mindset.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 18, 2027, through July 30, 2027).
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum of 4 days onsite).
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
