Summer Student Engagement Programming and Event Assistant

About the role#

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is hiring a Student Engagement Programming and Event Assistant for the Summer 2026 term. This role works under the supervision of the Director of Student Engagement and the Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement to support campus programming and student organization operations.

What you'll do#

• Assist with training sessions for student organizations.
• Manage event reservation processes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other campus event management groups, including Facilities and IT.
• Support office hours, as well as occasional weekend and late-night events.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment as a student in a major such as Communications, Psychology, or Human Resources.
• Ability to be self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Willingness to become van certified if you meet the age requirements.
