About the role#
The Student Success Ambassador is a leadership position within the Office of Student Affairs. This role focuses on proactive outreach and education to ensure the Chatham community is aware of available resources. Ambassadors help students thrive by connecting them with support services and promoting a culture of wellbeing on campus.
What you'll do#
- Develop and conduct programs and activities addressing mental health, wellbeing, and basic needs.
- Provide information and referrals regarding campus and local resources, including crisis supports.
- Conduct community outreach through social media, newsletters, flyers, and educational content.
- Support various student success initiatives and perform related duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at Chatham University.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with community outreach.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of mental health resources.
- Previous leadership experience.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

- Employment type: Full-time (subject to campus work hour limitations).

- Compensation: This is a paid position.
- Note: Student employees may not work more than 20 hours per week combined across all campus jobs during the academic year.
