The Student Success Ambassador is a leadership position within the Office of Student Affairs. This role focuses on proactive outreach and education, ensuring the Chatham community is aware of resources available to support student wellbeing and success.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and conducting programs and activities related to mental health, wellbeing, and basic needs.
- Provide information and referrals regarding campus and local resources, including mental health and crisis support.
- Conduct community outreach through flyers, newsletters, social media, and the development of educational content.
- Support various student success initiatives and perform additional duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with community outreach.
- Leadership experience.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of mental health resources.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, and Communications.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time (student position).
- Term: Rolling.
- Note: Student employees are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week across all campus jobs during the academic year and may not exceed 980 hours per calendar year.
