About the role#
Chatham University is hiring a Physician Assistant student tutor to support students currently in their didactic year. This role involves helping peers master course material and clinical medicine concepts. You will work as a peer resource to improve learning outcomes through individual, small-group, and large-group sessions.
What you'll do#
- Help didactic year PA students understand course material.
- Reinforce key concepts in clinical medicine.
- Clarify difficult topics and promote effective study strategies.
- Report on tutoring sessions to a designated PA faculty member.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
What you'll need#
- You must be a PA student currently in your clinical year.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to other students.
- Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality.
- Strong focus on supporting peer learning and study habits.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

- Term: Rolling.
- This is an unpaid position.
- Students may not work more than 20 hours per week across all campus jobs during the academic year.
- Total work hours may not exceed 980 hours per calendar year.
