Physician Assistant student tutor

About the role#

This position is for a Physician Assistant student tutor who supports didactic year PA students in mastering course material. Tutors serve as peer resources to enhance learning and help students navigate complex clinical medicine topics.

What you'll do#

• Provide tutoring through individual, small-group, and large-group sessions.
• Reinforce key concepts in clinical medicine and clarify difficult subject matter.
• Promote effective studying strategies to support student success.
• Report on tutoring sessions to a designated PA faculty member.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

What you'll need#

• Must be a PA student currently in your clinical year.
• Ability to effectively support and tutor didactic year PA students.
• Strong understanding of clinical medicine concepts.
• Capacity to maintain student confidentiality and professional standards.

Location & details#

• Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Rolling.
• Hours: Students may not work more than 20 hours per week combined across all campus jobs during the academic year and may not exceed 980 hours per calendar year.
• Note: Student positions do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
