About the role#
This position supports didactic year Physician Assistant students in mastering course material. Tutors serve as peer resources to enhance learning and are selected by faculty to assist with academic success.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, small-group, and large-group tutoring sessions.
- Reinforce key concepts in clinical medicine.
- Clarify difficult course concepts for students.
- Promote effective study strategies.
- Report on tutoring sessions to a designated PA faculty member.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a PA student in your clinical year.
- Ability to support didactic year students with course material.
- Strong understanding of clinical medicine concepts.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Employment type: Part-time, unpaid student role.
- Note: Student employees may not work more than 20 hours per week across all campus positions during the academic year.
