About the role#
Chatham University is hiring a Student Athletic Training Assistant to support our athletic training staff. This role is open to students in Kinesiology, Nutrition, or Psychology. You will gain hands-on experience in athletic training and sports management while working alongside professionals focused on athlete care.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the athletic training facility by sanitizing equipment, treatment tables, and common areas.
- Assist with administrative duties including inventory management, scheduling, and processing secondary insurance claims.
- Prepare student-athletes for appointments.
- Coordinate game day and practice setups.
- Help with setup and teardown at various athletic facilities to ensure events run smoothly.
What you'll need#
- An interest in sports and a desire to gain experience in athletic training.
- Proactive and organized work habits.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks like scheduling and inventory.
- Availability to assist with the operation of athletic events.

- Note: Students may not work more than 20 hours per week across all campus jobs during the academic year.
