About the role#
The Global Engagement Student Assistant supports the Office of Global Engagement at the Shadyside campus. This position involves helping staff with daily operations, event planning, and student outreach. It is an unpaid role for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with activities and events for both current and new students.
- Prepare materials for events, including handouts and presentations.
- Respond to verbal and written inquiries from students.
- Support office communications, including social media outreach.
- Help staff process applications and materials for field experience, semester, and internship programs.
- Update office materials for upcoming terms.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- An interest in learning about other cultures.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Students who have studied abroad or international students are encouraged to apply.

- Location: Falk Hall, Shadyside Campus, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Eligibility: Students may not exceed 20 hours of work per week across all campus jobs. This position does not automatically roll over to future terms.
