About the role#
The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and organized Student Engagement Programming and Event Assistant. This role serves as part of the leadership team under the supervision of the Director of Student Engagement and the Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement. This position is open to students majoring in Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Assist with student organization training and manage event reservation processes.
- Coordinate with campus event management groups, including Facilities and IT.
- Support the execution of late-night events.
- Maintain regular office hours and provide support during some weekends.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated approach to tasks.
- Reliability in meeting scheduling requirements.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Willingness to become van certified if you meet the age requirements.

- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Employment Type: Full-time (limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week during the academic year and 980 hours per calendar year).
