About the role#
The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is seeking a Student Engagement Programming and Event Assistant to join the leadership team. This role reports to the Director of Student Engagement and the Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement. This position is open to students majoring in Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Assist with training for student organizations.
- Manage the event reservation process.
- Coordinate with campus event management groups, including Facilities and IT.
- Maintain regular office hours.
- Support late-night events and some weekend programming.
What you'll need#
- Self-motivation, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Willingness to become van certified if you meet the age requirements.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time (limited to 20 hours per week during the academic year).
- This is a paid position.
