About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the core functions that keep a financial services firm running. You will work with Operations teams on tasks ranging from transaction processing and risk management to operational controls. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Phoenix for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support Operations teams with daily transaction processing, risk management, and operational controls.
- Perform reconciliations and operational reporting to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to real business activities through research, documentation, and process reviews.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to help refine internal workflows.
- Collaborate with internal partners and experienced professionals on day-to-day operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a higher education degree with an expected graduation date after August 2027.
- Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, for the duration of the program.
- A strong eye for detail, including the ability to identify inconsistencies and produce accurate work.
- Ability to follow structured processes, exercise sound judgment, and determine next steps for business challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and operational procedures quickly.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Operations Management are preferred.
