About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will join the team at the Loveland facility to support efficiency and cost savings projects. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while you develop the skills necessary for a career in operations. You will work closely with the manufacturing management team to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to operational growth.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the operations team on efficiency and cost savings initiatives.
- Gain familiarity with the IFS ERP system.
- Support and improve Kanban and Make to Stock systems.
- Participate in Rapid Improvement Events to drive operational growth.
- Own a project focused on improving efficiency reporting within assembly groups.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
- Basic operating knowledge of PCs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Relevant coursework in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
