About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern role at Vermeer Corporation focuses on data collection and analysis to help the business draw conclusions from raw information. You will work from our corporate office in Pella, Iowa, during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Run basic queries using data warehouse reporting and web-based tools.
- Compile data into established frameworks to identify patterns and quality improvement opportunities.
- Partner with a Demand Planner to analyze and compile statistical forecasting data.
- Participate in the monthly 5 step Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
- Research and resolve issues using current information sources like databases and process models.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to manipulate large data sets and condense them into useful information.
- Skill in producing accurate, professional, and error-free documents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
