About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Akron, Ohio, gaining hands-on experience in tax compliance and client service across various industries including real estate, construction, healthcare, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning tax assignments from start to finish.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Help with IRS audits, tax notice responses, and trust, gift, and estate returns.
- Build and maintain working relationships with client staff.
- Maintain professional standards and client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master's degree in these fields is also welcome.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience through student organizations or previous work in accounting or a related field.
