About the role#
As an Audit & Assurance Intern focused on Technology Controls Advisory, you will help clients navigate risks and opportunities in their digital environments. You will join a team that evaluates system controls, advises on compliance, and drives resilience. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Design, assess, and remediate technology controls for clients.
- Assist in improving the quality of information disclosed to markets and investors.
- Evaluate accounting systems and controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform internal audit assurance activities, including financial, operational, compliance, IT, SOX, and QARs.
- Create and manage SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 reports.
- Oversee the implementation of new systems to ensure they align with client objectives and standards.
- Perform internal control assessments and provide proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop recommendations to enhance business processes and systems.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or other related technical fields.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- Preferred: Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above, relevant work experience, and demonstrated leadership roles.
- Preferred: Meet the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure.

- Term: Fall 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to co-locate on average 3 times a week.
