About the role#
We are hiring a Business Operations Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid position based in Deerfield, Illinois. You will support our leadership team and stakeholders while gaining experience in a professional services environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including copying, scanning, mail delivery, and FedEx coordination.
- Manage calendars, prepare for meetings, and process expense reports.
- Cover reception duties and assist guests and visitors.
- Prepare and update business documents using Microsoft Office.
- Handle regional administrative projects and office priorities.
- Answer questions from clients and internal staff, directing them to the right resources.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program, specifically in business, communications, or a related field.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Experience with AI tools like Copilot.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Deerfield, Illinois.
- You will work on-site at least three days per week during the traditional business week.
- You must be available for at least 20 hours per week during core business hours.
- Work must be performed in blocks of at least two hours.
- Occasional evening or Saturday hours may be required.
