About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of our residential properties. You will work to maintain high occupancy levels by assisting with resident retention and leasing activities. This role requires a professional approach to customer service and the ability to collaborate effectively with your team.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative front desk tasks and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Complete lease applications and related paperwork.
- Conduct property tours while using feature and benefit selling techniques to close sales.
- Assist with planning and executing community events.
- Participate in required company training programs.
- Handle on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year at an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access all areas of the property, including exterior spaces in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and live on the designated floor as assigned.
