Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the community's goal of achieving full occupancy through resident retention and leasing efforts. You will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, assisting with administrative tasks and community operations. This is a part-time, on-site position requiring availability during evenings and weekends.

What you'll do#

• Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk duties, including completing lease applications and maintaining accurate file documentation.
• Participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Assist with planning community events and maintaining the cleanliness of the tour path.
• Greet prospective clients, conduct property tours, and manage leasing inquiries.
• Perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
• Complete assigned community projects and participate in required company training programs.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in an accredited degree program (majors in Business Administration or Real Estate preferred) with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Completion of at least one year at an accredited college or university.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and reside on the designated floor.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including interior and exterior spaces in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
