Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the community team in maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and collaborating effectively with your team members.

What you'll do#

• Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete all lease applications and file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in file audits.
• Assist with planning community events and various community projects.
• Participate in required training programs, including Cardinal U and the Cardinal Way of Leasing.
• Perform leasing duties such as greeting clients, answering calls, determining needs, conducting tours, and closing sales.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
• Handle on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.

What you'll need#

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Completion of at least one year at an accredited college or university.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and reside on the assigned floor.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and physically access all areas of the property, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
