Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern supports community operations by delivering high-quality customer service and assisting with leasing goals. This role involves administrative tasks, resident interaction, and community engagement. This is a paid, non-exempt position requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week, including evenings and weekends. Interns must be current or future leaseholders of the community and reside on a designated floor.

What you'll do#

• Deliver customer service and act as an ambassador for the community.
• Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
• Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification process.
• Assist with planning and executing community events.
• Perform administrative front desk duties and support community projects as assigned.
• Handle on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and community rounds.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive impression for prospective residents.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with at least one completed year and a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including indoor and outdoor spaces in various weather conditions.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration or Real Estate.

• Location: Boise, Idaho.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Term: Rolling; requires annual re-application.
