About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a point of contact for residents and prospective clients. This role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through effective leasing and resident retention. You will work on-site in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and participate in training programs to support your professional development.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and handle incoming leasing inquiries.
- Process lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Assist with the planning and execution of community events.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Perform administrative front desk duties and support community projects.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college or university study.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Current or future status as a leaseholder within the community.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, or Communications.

- Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position with bonus eligibility.
