About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting practices within the non-profit sector. You will join the team to support the organization's financial operations, contributing to the broader mission of serving children and families.
What you'll do#
- Process various accounts payable transactions.
- Manage account reconciliation tasks.
- Handle vendor invoice processing.
- Facilitate employee reimbursements.
- Collaborate with staff members committed to the organization's mission.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited academic institution with good academic standing.
- Pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Commitment to a minimum of 100 hours of service.
- Ability to complete goals as outlined by college affiliates and your site supervisor.
- Attendance at a mandatory orientation and training session at the start of the program.
