About the role#
This graduate internship provides hands-on experience in the delivery of behavioral health and social services. Interns integrate into a professional team to support children and families through various clinical interventions. This position is unpaid and intended for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the delivery of mental health services, including individual, family, and group therapy, as well as substance abuse treatment.
- Gain experience with clinical interventions, assessments, treatment plans, and case documentation.
- Attend a mandatory 40-hour orientation and training session at the start of the program.
- Complete goals as outlined by your university and assigned site supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate program for Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Good academic standing with an accredited institution.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Maturity, self-motivation, and the ability to work comfortably with families from diverse backgrounds.
- An established contract between your academic institution and the organization.

- Location: Jackson, Mississippi.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Minimum 100 hours (unless otherwise specified by your academic contract).
- Dress Code: Business casual or clinical attire.
