About the role#
The In-Home Behavioral Services (IHBS) Clinical Internship provides an opportunity to support youth and families in a home-based setting. You will work to identify and reduce challenging behaviors by implementing individualized plans. This position offers supervision from licensed staff and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to assist with degree completion and clinical growth.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply clinical interventions to assist youth and families.
- Use evidence-based modalities to build your clinical knowledge.
- Improve your documentation skills within electronic medical records.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with a supervising BCBA to create behavior intervention plans that address unique client needs.
What you'll need#
- You must be working toward a master's degree in social work, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field. Second-year students are preferred.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and learning new electronic systems.
- A valid driver's license and daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment models is preferred.
- Background and driving record checks are required.
