About the role#
Littleton Academy is a residential treatment setting for latency-aged students that focuses on trauma informed care. The facility provides 24-hour care with an on-site school, nursing staff, and full clinical support. As a clinical intern, you will receive supervision from licensed staff to support your progress toward degree completion. This position is part-time and available on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Receive clinical supervision and attend relevant consultations and trainings.
- Support students within the school and residential milieu.
- Develop clinical case formulations using the ARC model.
- Review intake materials and coordinate with collaterals.
- Complete CANS Assessments, Biopsychosocial Assessments, and other treatment-related documentation.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions with guidance.
- Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions.
- Maintain clinical chart documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, grand rounds reports, and treatment plans.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for a mental health field such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma informed treatment models.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
