About the role#
The Graduate Therapist Intern provides individual, family, and group therapy within our outpatient mental health clinics. This is an unpaid internship that typically requires 2 to 3 full days per week, Monday through Friday. You will work under the guidance of a licensed supervisor. Depending on your placement and interest, you may work in community clinics, schools, or other partnership sites. Services are delivered both in person and via telehealth.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement treatment plans for your clients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Manage your assigned caseload and provide case management services.
- Act as a liaison between the clinic and school or partnership programs.
- Use the electronic medical record system to document your clinical work.
- Complete all required documentation within established timelines.

- Current enrollment in a Psychology program.
- A flexible, creative, and self-driven approach to your work.
- A desire to integrate classroom learning with clinical practice.
- Compassion for individuals with a broad range of lived experiences, including those impacted by trauma or injustice.
- Willingness to consider new ideas and learn in a clinical setting.

- The position is based in Lutherville Timonium, Maryland.
- This role involves a mix of on-site and remote work.
- This is a part-time, unpaid internship with rolling start dates.
