About the role#
As a Treasury Student, you will work with experienced professionals to gain first-hand exposure to how a large company manages cash and debt balances. This role provides an opportunity to apply your academic experience to projects while working with mentors to build your skills in accounting and finance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with vendor banking set-up and maintenance for electronic payments and cash receipts.
- Support daily cash management activities, including deposits and payment processing.
- Respond to inquiries related to payments and cash receipts while maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with Treasury reporting, bank reconciliations, and foreign exchange rate updates.
- Participate in Treasury projects to gain exposure to cash management, financial controls, and corporate finance accounting processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of a degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Preference for candidates intending to pursue an accounting designation like a CPA or a finance designation like a CFA.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective time management and communication skills combined with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Term: Summer 2027 start.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Head Office.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time position.
